Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about our farm, food, and ordering process.

Buying directly from a local farm can feel different than shopping at a grocery store, and it’s normal to have questions. Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions we receive about our farming practices, products, and how ordering works. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, we’re always happy to help.

Questions About Our Farming Practices

How are your animals raised?

Our animals are raised on open pasture, where they can graze, forage, and move naturally. We use pasture-based, regenerative principles to support animal well-being, healthier soil, and better food.

Are your animals grass-fed and grass-finished?

Yes. Our cattle and lamb are raised on grass from start to finish. We believe animals should eat what they are designed to eat, and a grass-based diet supports both animal health and food quality.

What does “pasture-raised” mean?

Pasture-raised means our animals live outdoors on pasture rather than in confinement. They have access to fresh air, sunshine, and space to move, which allows them to express natural behaviors.

Do you use regenerative farming practices?

We manage our land with regenerative principles that focus on soil health, pasture recovery, and long-term sustainability. This includes rotational grazing and allowing land time to rest and regenerate.

Questions About Our Products

What products do you offer?

We offer grass-fed and and grass-finished beef, lamb, and pasture-raised eggs. Availability may vary by season and harvest timing.

Why does availability change?

Because we raise our food on a small scale and follow natural farming rhythms, availability reflects what’s ready rather than what’s mass-produced. This allows us to prioritize quality and freshness over constant stock.

How is your meat packaged?

Our products are prepared and packed with care to maintain quality and freshness. Specific packaging details are included on individual product listings.
