Getting here from Roanoke

We are in Troutville, straight up Interstate 81 from Roanoke, about fifteen minutes from the north side of the city. Close enough to fit into an ordinary errand run, far enough that you arrive somewhere that feels like the country. There is parking at the door.

What you can do here

  • Shop the store. Grass-fed beef and mutton, pasture-raised chicken and eggs, local trout, dairy, sourdough, honey, coffee, tallow skincare and work from local makers.
  • Collect an online order. Order through the website and pick it up here, which is the surest way to get eggs and the popular cuts before they go.
  • Ask about a bulk order. Freezer boxes and larger quantities are worth a conversation rather than a checkout button.
  • Ask about the farm. If you want to know how the cattle are raised, ask. It is the question we most like being asked.

Ring (540) 240-9955 during store hours and you will get a person, not a menu. For anything about an existing order, calling is usually faster than the form.

Wholesale, restaurants and events

Weddings and events

The farm also has an indoor event space behind the store. The Pasture Room seats 180 for dinner and holds up to 285 standing, fifteen minutes north of Roanoke. Ask about dates when you call.
